The two authors of the 'preface' are actually the authors of two introductory sonnets (Antonio Sabelli and Oratio Visdomini). This work is a published speech. The work was translated by Anne Dunhill (It is not clear which edition the translator used, but both the 1600 and 1601 editions are mentioned in the introduction).This second 1601 edition includes many additional chapters. |
